What are some good, western riding boots?

I need a new pair of western boots for riding, and i need them to be reasonably priced and last a long time. Preferably with a rounded toe. I also need to buy them at cavenders.

I love Ariat! Very comfy and supportive for your arch. Good sole too. Very well made, and reasonably priced. I like Justins too but, Justins just aren’t made like they used to be! I own both Justin and Ariats for Western Riding.

Get some Justin boots. They come in different styles, and they are comfortable. good quality, and very durable.

definately justin boots.. they have a nice boot called the justin gypsy its for women and girls but is probably not best for riding.. more for dress or work.. because of the really heavy grip on the bottom.. :)

Ariat will suit what you’re looking for. I have many pairs.

Ariat Fat Baby’s! They are so comfortable, they have the new 4 layer sole. They also are made very well. The actual boot is sewn to the sole not just glued, so they don’t separate. They have a round toe, and they come in different colors of plain brown to some really cute colors. They have some nice tread on them, so you get good traction but they still fit in stirrups well. They priced very nicely also. I live in PA and I get them for $80.00.
I get them at Cabela’s or Tractor Supply Store (not sure if you have either) Or you can get them at Ariat’s website.

I don’t ride western anymore, but ariats are AMAZING. I bought a pair of plane brown ariats for $99 six years ago. THey have been in hail storms, riding (both english and western), through countless streams, snow, mud, and they are still in perfect condition. I absolutely LOVE them. They are comfortable and nearly waterproof. The only way water gets in is if I stand still in water for a long time. And mine have rounded toes, although there are many styles.

I’m in love with my Ariats. I have the crepe soles and they are the most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn. They come in dress boots and work boots so you might want to watch out for that.

They have fat boys, but everyone I’ve ever talked to says not to ride in them. Their heel is a bit too short and they are wide and clumbsy in the stirrup.

Ariat’s and Justin’s. They are both terrific brands and last forever. I have had my Ariat’s for almost 3 years now (and that’s after my horses stepping on them.) and before that I had my Justin’s for 4 years.
