Does this kind of book exist?

I want to read a book about cowboys and outlaws, but I want it to be a romance too. I don’t want it to be the typical western, I want something very interseting.

Can you give me any good books that fit this?

Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry.
And then a whole lot of others by him too. Start with Lonesome Dove though. It’s a fantastic book.

You might like Sacajawea by Anna Lee Waldo too. It isn’t cowboys, because it’s about the Lewis & Clark expedition but it has all kinds of Old West stuff going on.

Try The All True Travels and Adventures Of Lidie Newton by Jane Smiley too. It’s a pretty good story.

why yes, read East of Eden,by John Steinbeck. I suggest you start with Chapter eight (about Cathy), read it, then you know what I mean that this is a good novel. then go back to the beginning. in any case, it has all that you said you wanted.
