Any reccomendations for books to donate?

My 2-year old cousin passed away from a brain tumor in Februray and I want to donate some books in memory of him to our local library. His name was Joshua and he liked sports, Thomas the Train, and cowboys. I want the books to reflect him in some way. Any ideas?

Yes if he liked sports, please donate a copy of The Boy of Steel by Ray Negron. It is the story of a boy with cancer who wanted to be a batboy for the NY Yankees. It was written after he passed away from cancer. All proceeds from the book go to cancer research and children’s cancer centers. I have donated many copies in memory of the son of a friend of mine.

You can look for other books that the proceeds go to cancer research. That is a win-win situation. Your library gets the book and cancer research gets the money. God Bless you and your cousin. Pax – C
