What can I do to make them easier to get on and more comfortable?
The lady that gave them to me said that if I put them on, wet the outside of them and wore them around, it would stretch them some. Is this true? Or is it the best way?

Just wear them around your house for awhile. Keep them in a warm place, they’ll get tighter if they’re cold. =]

So how can I really clean them good without ruining them?

Spray some Lysol inside them and leave them dry. Then coat the insides with a lot of baking soda, leave sit over night then in the morning shake them out really good to get the excess out.

The Lysol will kill the germs and the baking soda will make them smell better and absorb any oils that are from the previous owner.

Good for you! Your actually giving this some thought unlike 90% of riders I see in friggin’ sneakers! The trouble with slip on boots is that, well, they slip off. Not a good thing if you go for a slide. An inexpensive alternative that will not slip off is a lace up work boot that covers the ankle and has a 1" heel.

mmm i kinda see this from both points of view. In your opinion, you wanna dress how you want. Thats good – its making a statement and being individual. However I assume that your parents pay the bill, therefore I think you should respect that and their wishes or not go with them
